Talk abstract: Data-driven Outdoor Advertising
Exterion Media is Europe’s largest privately held Out-of-Home advertising business. Exterion Media is on a journey to becoming a Digital Media Company, powered by data. Engaging consumers on the move and using wide-ranging insight and data tools, it delivers valuable, relevant audiences to advertisers. TFL and Exterion Media have formed Hello London, which aims to connect brands with the London audience across the underground and rail network. The eight-year contract between TFL and Exterion Media contract is worth £1.1 billion.
Exterion is transforming from being an out of home media company to a digital media company. Data is absolutely central to the future of the business and will continue to be a key area of development. The ambition is a bold one: make OOH more accountable, more measurable, and more effective.
Bio: I am currently working as a Lead Data Engineer. I am working for Exterion Media to build their analytics platform. This project is in partnership with TFL (Transport for London). I am recognised as a Qlik Luminary for the year 2014 and 2017 and Co-Founded Qlik Dev Group (www.QlikDevGroup.com) and author of www.QlikShare.com. I am certified, Scrum Master (PSM). Currently, pursuing Masters in Data Science from the University of London. I had worked on building many successful implementations of Analytics platform, right from the inception through the deployment. I am certified QlikView Designer, Developer, Administrator and Scrum Master. Expertise in Clustering setup, data modelling, data analysis, ETL and data migration projects. I have experience in dealing with large datasets (billions of rows). Certified Designer, Developer, System Administrator and Data Architect. Experience in Investment Banking, Advertising, Media, Technology and Retail industries.
